Empowering Women Through Education

Judy Perrier and Linda Adams of Soroptimist International Thunder Bay are pleased to present a cheque for $2,000 to this year's Live Your Dream recipient, Marlene Gammond.  Gammond is a single mom of two children who live at home.

She has decided, later in life, to change careers and return to school to fulfil her dream of becoming a social worker.  She is furthering her studies at Confederation College.

Soroptimist International Thunder Bay is pleased to support her educational goals in order to improve the life of herself and her family.

We wish Gammond all the best as she ventures on this new journey and are grateful to Thunder Bay and district for their support of this year's Dream22 virtual auction.
