Here's what else we're passionate about locally...
T-Bay Passions ... here's some local projects we're passionate about.

Soroptimist 100th Anniversary
100 years of making dreams a reality

The celebration was held at the International Friendship Gardens.  SI Thunder Bay has been in existence for the past 70 years and what a past it has had.  The Friendship Gardens was an initiative that was proposed as a Centennial project by SI Fort William-Port Arthur (now SI Thunder Bay)and the City donated the land of Chapples Park to develop the gardens.

Mayor Bill Mauro and Counsellor Rebecca Johnson joined our club President Cheryl Ball, our Chair of the Anniversary Committee Karen Bortolin and Garden Committee Chair Maxine Tenander to acknowledge the collective impact the club has had on women and girls in out community and throughout the world.
The Soroptimists' also memorialized our sisters who have trees planted in the memorial tree grove.
