Soroptimist Thunder Bay continues to Support Women  and Girls in the Community

Melanie Cates (L)Project chair, and Cindy Figus, President of Soroptimist Thunder Bay are pictured here donating a cheque for $1,000, to Robyn Melanson, Director of Resources and Children Services for C.A.S.  The funds will be used to support the Children's Aid Society , Girls Transitioning to Adulthood Program,  Soroptimist International Thunder Bay has taken on this grass roots project in their continuing efforts to help young women achieve their individual and collective potential. The funds were raised by a 50/50 draw at the Canada vs U.S. Friendship Series this summer.
