Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre supports women, trans, and non-binary people in Thunder Bay and the surrounding region who are experiencing violence, poverty, or systemic barriers. They provide advocacy, information, and help navigating services such as shelters, counseling, income support, and legal aid. Through education, community engagement, and advocacy, they work to prevent gender-based violence and promote economic justice and food security. Their services are inclusive and accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities, with a focus on those most impacted by inequality, including Indigenous, low-income, newcomer women, youth, and survivors of trafficking.
